So this weekend, six of us took a trip to Southampton to watch Bliss Students Stevie Slaymaker compete in the Solent Aerial Hoop and Pole Champtionships.
The competition included several categories:
Beginner Aerial Hoop
Advanced Aerial Hoop
Performer Pole
intermediate Pole
Expert Pole
Professional Pole
Mens Pole
Doubles Pole
As you can tell…it was a long competition!
There are not many competitions for Aerial Hoop at the moment, but they are growing!
The Aerial Hoop was actually my favourite part of the whole competition! Stevie was in the beginners category but the standard was very high! Amazing!
The advanced hoop was breathtaking! Luckily I recorded some of the routines as the ladies rocked, the pieces was fill of drops, legs everywhere and bendy bodies! all with such different themes and music! was AMAZING!
Well it is well known that our Stevie performed her heart out and went on to WIN! We are super proud of her! her feedback was super good from the judges! Stevie is a fantastic performer and worked super hard on her routine with very little instruction from myself and the Bliss Instructors as she knew exactly what she wanted to do and got it done!
