Green Drink….Why?
You may of heard of Green Juice, Super Greens, Leans Greens and many more brands/names for it.
But what are they and what do they do?
I have been taking Super Greens for almost two years, and in all honesty, I do not think I will stop taking them.
The ones I personal taking at the Organic Synergy Super Greens which I purchase from Amazon (some larger Tesco stores have them). Here are the details of this particular brand (I have not personally tried others and have no connection to Synergy)

Product Description

Synergy super greens is a synergistic blend of nature’s most nutrient dense green superfoods, spirulina, chlorella, barley grass and wheat grass. Organic super greens powder provides all the nourishing goodness of the four green superfoods in one supplement. A supplement with a truly broad base of nutrients that are energising, balancing, cleansing and alkalising.Synergy super greens provides a wide spectrum of highly bio-available whole food nutrients, balanced by nature, that are absorbed more effectively than those found in synthetic formulations. It can contribute to your 5 + daily servings of vegetables in a convenient and affordable way.

Spirulina (33%), Barley Grass leaf powder (25%), Wheat Grass leaf powder (25%), Chlorella (16%).

So basically it contains several Superfoods. You take one teaspoon a day mixed in either water, juice or a smoothie.
If I have a morning smoothie, mine goes in there, If i don’t, I almost make it up like a shot. STIR IT WELL! When its lumpy is hard to swallow! I will be honest with you as well, it is not the nicest tasting stuff! But you do get used to it and I actually miss that initial morning nutritious shot when I run out!
Do I feel any different?
Yes. And I am not one who is easily convinced. When detoxing, this helps with the process so the side effects subside quicker. I feel my skin gets brighter and I have better energy levels when I take this. I also know the nutrients are sooooo good for you and that simple shot in the morning is doing wonders for me.
As you only need one teaspoon, a tub normally lasts me 6-8 weeks.
I urge everyone to try it, bare in mind, as mentioned it can take some getting used to. It does not bother me what so ever in a smoothie but does add earthy undernotes.
Give it ago, its fab for your health and wellbeing.
